Sri Lanka Gratis ETA
The Sri Lanka ETA for Minors (Under 16) is issued free of charge (gratis) to eligible children under 16 years of age travelling to Sri Lanka.
Note: Minor applications must be submitted together with an accompanying adult traveller’s application and cannot be processed independently.

Applicants are required to submit a passport bio page scan. The passport must be valid for 6 months from the date of arrival in Sri Lanka.

- Attending a marriage or wedding
- Participating in art, music, and dance events
- Attending meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) related to tourism
Applying for the Sri Lanka ETA for Minor (Under 16)
Step 1:
Complete the Sri Lanka online ETA application form by providing the child’s passport and travel details.
Step 2:
From the ETA type drop-down menu, choose ‘ETA for minor’.
Step 3:
Upload the required documents as requested in the application form.
Step 4:
Pay the ETA fee using a credit or debit card.
Step 5:
Receive the approved Sri Lanka ETA on your registered email ID.
Sri Lanka ETA for Minor (Under 16) Fee
There is no ETA fee for eligible children under 16. However, service charges and optional rush or super rush processing fees may apply.

The processing time depends on the option selected during the application process:
- Receive a decision in 3 - 6 Working Days with Standard Processing.
- Receive a decision in 2 - 4 Working Days with Rush Processing.
- Receive a decision in 1 - 2 Working Days with Super-Rush Processing.
